Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes, known in Japan as Sengoku Basara 3 (戦国BASARA3 Sengoku Basara Surī), is the sequel to Sengoku Basara 2. The game will be released in 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Wii.

After Ieyasu killed Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Mitsunari wanted revenge. He is driven by the power of hatred and anger. Mitsunari becomes the leader of Western Army against Ieyasu, destined to fight at Sekigahara.
Voiced by: Fumihiko Tachiki
He is Mitsunari's strategist. Ōtani has a disease that forces him to be bandaged completely. He wants people to suffer like him, so he intends to draw out the war as long as possible. He uses several orbs as a weapon and rides a levitating palanquin, due to his condition.
Voiced by: Sayaka Ōhara
She is the leader of the Saika faction. While most historical representations show Magoichi as a man, the name 'Magoichi' was used for the leader of the Saika and could have referred to a woman as well. She uses various guns as her weapons.

Despite the fact he was supposedly on Hideyoshi's side, Kanbē was exiled and imprisoned by Mitsunari due to his secret ambition to conquer the country. He appears as a prisoner whose hands have been locked with a ball and chain, which he also uses as his weapon.

Tsuruhime is a young and naive priestess who wishes to protect her homeland. She became infatuated with Fūma when the ninja saved her life. She uses a bow as her weapon.

Ieyasu is now an adult and leads the Eastern Army against Mitsunari, who hates him for Hideyoshi's death. Ieyasu wishes to unite the country with his power of bonds. He now uses his fist (with brass knuckles) as a weapon.

Masamune suffered a critical loss at Mitsunari's hands while he was attempting to overthrow Hideyoshi. After the latter's death, Masamune joins the fray to defeat Mitsunari and restore his pride.

Yukimura is now the unsure commander of the Takeda army, as his beloved lord Takeda Shingen's health suddenly deteriorated before a decisive battle against Ieyasu.
Tadakatsu is still fighting alongside Ieyasu. He now uses cannons on his shoulders along with his drill spear.

The lord of Shikoku, Chōsokabe became furious with Ieyasu when it appeared he had broken the promise they made. After Ieyasu attacked Shikoku, Chōsokabe swore revenge for his lost comrades and joined forces with Mitsunari.

After Mōri's home was attacked, he looked into restoring his territory. To that end, he joined the alliance with Mitsunari's Western army, alongside his rival Chōsokabe. His ultimate plans are to take over the entire country himself.

After the death of his former friend Hideyoshi, Keiji joined the ranks of the Uesugi army.

Shimazu joins the fight in order to try and pave the way for the younger generation.

The only survivor of the Incident at Honnō-ji, Oichi lost most of her memory and sanity after the death of her husband, Azai Nagamasa. She now uses her dark aura hands instead of her naginata as in the previous game.
The legendary ninja still serves Hōjō, who hopes to join the Eastern army and restore his clan.

Kobayakawa is a cowardly person who is the commander of the Kobayakawa army. Reflected in his cooking pot weapon, he is gourmand who is also a pawn of Mōri's.

A high-ranking monk standing at Kobayakawa's side. With sweet words and turns of phrases he guides the indecisive Kobayakawa as he wants. No one knows his true identity, though he bears an uncanny resemblance to Akechi Mitsuhide.

A renowned warrior along the likes of Shimazu and Tadakatsu, Muneshige is under the orders of Ōtomo Sōrin.
Voiced by: Noriaki Sugiyama
Sōrin is the young head of the Ōtomo clan. Entirely devoted to the fishy religion known as Zabbyism, he wishes to establish a great nation based on those beliefs in Kyūshū.
Voiced by: Tetsu Shiratori
A long-time opponent of both Kenshin and Masamune, Mogami is trying to join the ranks of Ieyasu's Eastern forces.
